we go now to this breaking story.
 you're watching a man on an all- terrain vehicle leading police in a high-speed chase through downtown los angeles. an l.a.p.d. spokesman says the man, anthony fait -- vanessa looks over in surprise.
-- commandeered the a.t.v. after escaping from police officers while being treated at a local hospital for injuries resulting from his earlier arrest for robbery.  and this is certainly one of the wildest chases we've witnessed here in l.a.
 and it looks like this chase will end here, as police seal off the building.  off vanessa, watching.
 here's a car coming down the exit ramp.  we see the police approach the car.
 the police apparently talking to the driver.  the police let the car pass.
